JOHN R. BRUMBERG’s clients have included publicly traded companies involved in complex litigation, notable private companies, individuals making large personal injury claims, and recognized politicians. In several prominent cases, he has represented clients facing intense national and local media and governmental scrutiny. He has experience representing clients on all aspects of litigation and public relations strategy.

He has successfully obtained verdicts for his clients at trial. He advises individuals and business clients in a wide variety of matters including intellectual property issues, litigation management, and insurance procurement, coverage, and claims. As lead counsel, he has recovered millions of dollars for his clients in high-stakes commercial litigation.

His significant recent engagements include insurance coverage and premium disputes, consumer protection litigation, indemnity disputes, real estate law, intellectual property litigation, tax exemption litigation, contract disputes, and antitrust disputes.

Mr. Brumberg has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in the area of Business Litigation. He is also a notable legal author, having been published in the areas of trade secrets, cryptocurrency, and natural resource law.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Brumberg served as an intern to Judge Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania and for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. He earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he was the recipient of a Duke Law Scholarship.
