PETER ST. TIENNE WOLFF is a partner in the Commercial Litigation and Estate & Trust Litigation; Estate Planning and Administration Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
Mr. Wolff focuses on complex commercial and fiduciary matters in the trial and appellate arenas. He has successfully tried cases to juries, judges and arbitration panels, and has obtained favorable results before the Pennsylvania Superior Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Wolff’s practice includes fiduciary litigation in the Orphans’ Court and matters involving commercial and personal contracts, business torts, trade secrets, injunctions, professional liability, products liability, premises liability, employment, defamation, and requests for information under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law.
Mr. Wolff is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is also a past member of the Bar Leadership Initiative of the ACBA Young Lawyers Division and the West Region Young Lawyers Committee with the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. Mr. Wolff has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Estate & Trust Litigation since 2013 and was recognized by the 2023 Chambers High Net Worth Guide in Band 1 for his exceptional work in Private Wealth Disputes in Pennsylvania. Mr. Wolff was also recognized by the 2024 Chambers USA Guide for his work in Litigation: General Commercial in Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh & Surrounds. Mr. Wolff was also included in the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for his practice in Trusts and Estates, Litigation – Trusts and Estates, Commercial Litigation, and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions. He has been honored with the Appreciation Commitment Excellence (A.C.E.) award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western PA for his pro bono legal work.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wolff was an extern for then-Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Ralph J. Cappy, where he prepared recommendations to grant or deny pending Petitions for Allowance of Appeal, assisted in the drafting of various opinions, and researched various legal issues for the Court.
While in law school, Mr. Wolff participated in the Securities Arbitration Practicum, Business Law Journal, Trial Advocacy and the Corporate Law Society. He also studied abroad in Vatican City, where he studied Roman Law, Canon Law, and The Process of Canonization.
