NICOLE L. PHATAK is a partner at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and a member of the firm’s Estate & Trust Litigation; Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group. Her practice focuses on estate planning and estate administration, including advising clients on individual and fiduciary income tax matters, as well as gift tax planning and compliance.
Ms. Phatak assists clients with matters ranging from the preparation of foundational estate planning documents—such as wills and powers of attorney—to sophisticated trusts and asset preservation strategies. She is known for her thoughtful, personalized approach and for developing practical solutions tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.
Prior to joining Pietragallo, Ms. Phatak practiced at an international law firm where she focused on tax service matters and estate planning. She is actively involved in the community and holds numerous leadership roles, including serving on the Women’s Leadership Council for the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania; as an Ambassador for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Children’s Trust; on the Young Professional Advisors Committee for The Pittsburgh Foundation; and as a Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader. She has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® for Trust and Estates since 2023.
Ms. Phatak earned her J.D. from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
