Say hello to “Petro” – A medical service dog-in-training, by Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, for a U.S. military veteran suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
The Pietragallo Law Firm is proud to support Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc., through the Pittsburgh Mutt Strut event, which has a dramatic impact on the quality of life for returning veterans afflicted with PTSD. The Mutt Strut event is a family-friendly dog parade and festival which raises funds for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. and it will take place, in Pittsburgh, on Saturday September 14, 2019.
The Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that 39 Veterans attempt suicide, every day, and that 22 of those attempts are successful. Once paired with a Guardian Angels Service Dog, that statistic becomes zero.
