Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP is proud to announce that partner Kenneth J. Horoho, Jr., Chair of the firm’s Family Law Practice Group, has been elected President of the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS) for the 2026–2027 term.
A longtime advocate for the legal profession and access to justice, Horoho will help guide the organization’s governance and strategic direction as Neighborhood Legal Services celebrates its 60th anniversary. Founded in 1966, NLS provides high-quality civil legal services to low-income and vulnerable individuals and families throughout Western Pennsylvania.
“As Neighborhood Legal Services celebrates its 60th anniversary, I am honored to serve as Board President during this important milestone year,” said Horoho. “Our mission of ensuring access to justice for vulnerable individuals and families remains as critical today as it was six decades ago, and I look forward to working alongside our Board, staff, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen that mission for future generations.”
Horoho succeeds Elizabeth Mavero, who served as Board President during a period of continued growth and innovation for the organization.
A highly respected family law attorney, Horoho is recognized throughout Pennsylvania for his leadership in both the legal profession and the community. He is a past President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and recently completed a three-year term as Vice-Chair of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee. Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership positions dedicated to advancing the profession and expanding access to justice.
In addition to serving as Board President, Horoho is chairing Neighborhood Legal Services’ 60th Anniversary Celebration, which will be held on October 6, 2026, at Acrisure Stadium. The signature fundraising event will bring together leaders from the legal, business, government, philanthropic, and civic communities to commemorate six decades of service and raise support for the organization’s mission.

Neighborhood Legal Services serves residents of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence counties by providing free civil legal assistance to individuals and families facing issues involving housing, family stability, public benefits, health care, and personal safety.
