Gaetan J. Alfano Featured on Jury Trial Panel Discussion

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Gaetan J. Alfano, partner at the law firm Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, was a member of a panel discussion at the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel’s 2016 Annual Meeting in North Hills Country Club on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

Mr. Alfano was on the panel “A 360° View of a Jury Trial in Philadelphia” as well as other local trial experts including the Honorable Kenneth J. Powell, Jr., Jury Commissioner Daniel A. Rendine, Esquire, and Charissa Ray, MBA. This panel discussed topics such as the Court of Common Pleas jury pool, jury composition and verdicts, the selection process, ways to keep jury members interested and engaged, the use of social media in jury selection, when to involve a trial consultant, and the pros and cons of using mock juries.

Mr. Alfano is a member of the Employment & Labor Practice Group at Pietragallo, Co-Chair of the Litigation Practice Group and currently serves as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in commercial and employment disputes, insurance insolvency and receivership law, as well as complex white collar criminal defense.
