ALEXANDER M. OWENS is a senior associate in the Philadelphia Office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is a member of the Qui Tam & False Claims Act and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.
Mr. Owens received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University where he majored in International Relations. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating in the top 5% of his class. At Temple, he was an Executive Articles and Symposium Editor on the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.
Following graduation from Temple Law, Mr. Owens served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Strawbridge of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Owens represents whistleblowers in qui tam suits, plaintiffs and defendants in class actions, and individuals, businesses, and government entities in commercial disputes.
Mr. Owens has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star in Class Action Litigation by Super Lawyers. He has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch® 2024 edition for his practice in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions and Commercial Litigation.
