JESSE MARRA is an associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Employment & Labor Practice Groups.

Mr. Marra represents businesses, employers, and individuals in a broad range of commercial, employment, and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. His practice encompasses contract disputes, business tort claims, employment discrimination and retaliation matters, professional liability disputes, premises-liability claims, and appellate matters.

He guides clients through every stage of the litigation process—from pre-suit investigation and case assessment through discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and appeal. Known for his thoughtful approach to complex disputes, Mr. Marra develops clear litigation strategies, identifies critical evidentiary issues, and presents sophisticated legal and factual issues in a practical, persuasive manner.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Marra advises employers on workplace matters, including internal investigations, employee complaints, administrative agency proceedings, and litigation-risk assessments. He partners with clients to evaluate potential exposure, navigate sensitive employment issues, and develop practical solutions that align with their business objectives.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Marra served as a legal intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Christine Donohue of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He also gained experience as a law clerk with two civil litigation firms.

Mr. Marra earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a member of the Trial Moot Court Competition Team, the Dean’s Leadership Fellows, and the Justice Louis L. Manderino Honor Society. He received a merit-based Dean’s Scholarship and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Remedies at Law and in Equity and Trial Advocacy. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from The Pennsylvania State University.
