LATIA R. J. HUBBARD is an associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and is a member of the Product Liability Practice Group.

Building on extensive experience addressing complex legal and regulatory challenges in the railroad industry, including personal injury claims and risk management, Ms. Hubbard draws on this skillset to advise clients on product-related matters, helping navigate issues of safety, liability, and regulatory compliance. She has experience in resolving cases through jury trial, non-jury trial, and plea negotiations.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a member at a Mid-Atlantic regional law firm where she represented the railroad industry in cases that involve allegations of personal and occupational injuries and wrongful death. She was also an Assistant District Attorney in the Violent Crimes and Firearms Unit for the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office. While there, she handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases.

As a member of Assemble’s Board of Directors, Ms. Hubbard helps guide and support the organization’s mission to build confidence through hands-on STEAM education and creative exploration, connecting Pittsburgh’s youth with accessible opportunities to learn, make, and grow. She also serves as a mentor for the Pittsburgh Legal Diversity & Inclusion Coalition where she helps promote equity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Ms. Hubbard earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.
