Medical Malpractice Defense

We have more than 80 years of combined experience in defending individual physicians, physician groups, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare institutions. We have a deep understanding of the individual and institutional ramifications of such claims against health care providers. We work closely with our clients and their insurance providers to defend and to limit the impact of such claims in our clients’ lives and on their practices.

Defending physicians who are subjected to licensure actions is a significant, high-stakes and extremely successful part of our practice, as well.

We successfully manage credentialing disputes for our clients and offer advice and guidance in the credentialing process; and in unavoidable instances, offer representation through the dues process hearings and litigation settings, if necessary.

Our attorneys provide guidance in connection with medical adverse events at the pre-claim stage and at every stage of malpractice litigation. We have litigated medical professional liability claims throughout the Tri-State region.

In addition, our attorneys offer preventative counseling through in-house risk management seminars for the healthcare team and regulatory compliance training sessions for medical facility personnel.
