Pietragallo Partner Kevin E. Raphael was in Scranton, Pennsylvania last Friday to honor the winners of the 2019 PBA Media Awards during the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association’s “News Organization of the Year” brunch at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center. Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP funded the annual competition and it is coordinated by the PBA Bar/Press Committee.

Established 40 years ago, the PBA Media Awards competition recognizes journalistic excellence in news and feature reporting in print, broadcast and podcast media regarding the legal system and its operations. All Pennsylvania reporters, editors, broadcasters and publishers are eligible to enter the competition by submit­ting material published or broadcast then submissions are  judged by lawyers, journalists and college professors.
