Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP is pleased to announce the hiring of five new associates based in our Pittsburgh and Philadelphia law offices.
Janet K. Meub joins the Pittsburgh office as the newest member of the Commercial Litigation, Health Care Litigation and Professional Liability Defense practice groups. Ms. Meub received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. Throughout her career, Ms. Meub has held various legal positions with several other law firms. She has experience in medical malpractice litigation, transportation and professional liability. Ms. Meub has held various positions in different organizations and is currently on the Attorneys Against Hunger Committee and the Mt. Lebanon Traffic Board. She has also been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010 and 2011.
Abigail M. Faett joins the Pittsburgh office as an associate in the Litigation Defense practice group. Ms. Faett received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University, and her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law. In addition to many honors that she received, Ms. Faett also studied abroad in France, the Netherlands and Germany for an International Media course, and is a member of the Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh’s Young Professionals Advisory Board.
John R. Brumberg joins our Pittsburgh office as an associate in the Commercial Litigation practice group. Mr. Brumberg earned his undergraduate degree from Allegheny College and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the Duke Law Scholarship. He served as an intern with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and also with Federal District Judge Joy Flowers-Conti. In addition to Mr. Brumberg’s academic honors, he was a member of the Varsity Golf team at Allegheny College, where he was named to the First Team NCAA All-Conference and All-Region Selection.
Robert J. Perkins also joins our Pittsburgh office as an associate in the Product Liability practice group. Mr. Perkins received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, he received many exceptional awards including the Distinguished Student Award, the Pro Bono Student Achievement Award, the John J. Sciullo Peer Excellency Award and the Cali Excellence for the Future Award. In addition, Mr. Perkins has served as the first Director of Duquesne University’s School of Law Academic Excellence Program.
Leslie A. Mariotti joins the Philadelphia office as an associate in the Employment practice group. Ms. Mariotti earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, earned her Masters at the University of London, and her J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Ms. Mariotti served as a judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy R. Rice and a Law Clerk for The Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in Philadelphia. In addition, Ms. Mariotti was a member of the United States Peace Corps in Cameroon for two years, where she taught English to children in grades 6 through 12.
