Related Professionals: Lourdes Sánchez Ridge

On June 30th, Lourdes Sanchez Ridge will host a Zoom session through Mackrell International’s “MI Mentor” series. Lourdes is a true mentor and inspiration to Latino’s, females, working mothers, and her local legal community. Lourdes will share her humble beginnings in Cuba and what it took to become an esteemed lawyer. Prior to joining Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP as a white collar partner, Lourdes was Pittsburgh’s solicitor and chief legal officer, having already served in the Florida State Attorney’s office in Miami and as a federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C. However, she credits her creation of Pittsburgh’s Ethics Hearing Board as one of her proudest accomplishments. The nine-member board was officially formed in 2016, to regulate compliance with the city’s code of ethics. After taking time out to raise a family, she then battled back to claim senior legal roles.

With such an array of personal and professional experiences, Lourdes is a true inspiration and mentor to young lawyers everywhere.
