PITTSBURGH, PA – John B. Zappone joined the Pittsburgh, PA office of the law firm Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Zappone received his B.A. from Saint Vincent College and earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne, he received two CALI Awards for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and Federal Courts and the Federal System. He was also awarded Outstanding Brief and Outstanding Oral Advocate for the Appellate Arguments held during the first year Legal Research and Writing Course.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zappone worked for almost two years as a law clerk for the Honorable Ronald W. Folino, Administrative Judge of the Civil Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, while also serving as his Executive Assistant for the last four months of his tenure.
Mr. Zappone invests his spare time in the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museums as a Board Member. This is a non-profit organization that funds restoration throughout the Vatican Museums.
Mr. Zappone is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
