James W. Kraus has been appointed to serve as the Chair of the Directors and Officers Coverage Subcommittee of the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Government Enforcement and Corporate Compliance Committee (GECC).
DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. The GECC provides opportunities for education and communication among attorneys, both inside and outside counsel, to effectively address issues raised by the increased emphasis on white collar crime prosecutions. The membership engages in nationwide forum to address the fact that many clients are facing prosecution for what, in the past, would have been regulatory violations. This includes a focus on government investigation and prosecution of the financial, accounting, healthcare, and other industries.
