Asher S. Alavi has joined the Philadelphia office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP as the newest member of its Federal and State Qui Tam Litigation practice group.
Mr. Alavi is a Boston College Law School graduate and was note editor of the Boston College Third World Law Journal. He also attended Northwestern University where he was on the Dean’s List and was the recipient of the Chapman-Jones Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Mr. Alavi has experience working as a student attorney at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau, Community Enterprise Clinic. He has also worked as a volunteer law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Office of Professional Responsibility. In addition, he has experience as a law clerk at Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF) and as a Legal Assistant at Cook County Public Defender’s Office in the Felony Homicide Division.
He is admitted to practice law in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
