JENNIFER R. RUSSELL is a senior associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor and Litigation Practice Groups.

Ms. Russell has successfully defended employers facing discrimination and wrongful termination claims and has obtained summary judgment and dismissal of the claims against them. She has also been instrumental in the firm’s appellate practice and has prepared appellate briefs in both employment and other litigation matters. In addition to litigating the defense of state and federal employment claims, Ms. Russell has represented both employers and employees in employment contract disputes, including wrongful termination, breach of employment contracts and wage claims. Ms. Russell has also counseled corporate employers in the areas of day-to-day employment and management decisions, including compliance with state and federal discrimination, leave and wage and hour laws, and has assisted with drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks and separation agreements and releases. Ms. Russell also assists in other practice areas by providing research and writing support regarding the litigation and counseling needs of the firm’s clients.

At Duquesne University School of Law, she was a member of the Women’s Law Association.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where she is a member of the Commission on Women in the Profession, and the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Ms. Russell is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association.  In addition, she is a vocalist for local weddings, church services and other special events.
