MARC STEPHEN RASPANTI is a seasoned litigator with over 39 years of experience focusing on complex, high-stakes matters in Government Enforcement, Compliance, Internal Investigations, Federal and State White Collar Litigation; Federal and State Qui Tam Litigation; Criminal, Civil and Administrative Health Care Fraud Litigation; and Complex Commercial Litigation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Raspanti is a former Assistant District Attorney at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he tried a wide range of criminal cases to verdict. Mr. Raspanti is a name partner of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and the founder of the firm’s national Qui Tam/False Claims Act practice group as well as the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense practice group. He has also served as an expert witness and mediator in a number of False Claims Act cases.
Over his illustrious career, Mr. Raspanti has represented numerous executives, corporations, physicians, health care providers, hospitals, pharmacists, surgeons, manufacturers, distributors, entrepreneurs, clergy, accountants, lawyers, politicians, and professionals in numerous federal, state and regulatory investigations throughout the country and abroad.

Marc has been appointed as a member of Law360’s 2023 Health Care Editorial Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Raspanti was appointed by the governor as a Commissioner in 2007 to 2010 as the criminal defense representative to serve on the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing. He was previously appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. In 2003, under recommendation from the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Mr. Raspanti was appointed to the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board for a term of six years which concluded on January 27, 2009. He served as Chair of the Board’s education committee. Prior to his appointment to the 16-person Disciplinary Board, he served for six years as a Philadelphia Disciplinary Hearing Committee Member as well as a Special Master.
