LESLIE A. MARIOTTI works closely with her clients to develop employment policies and processes that help them improve their corporate culture, increase employee morale, strengthen customer loyalty, and enhance their relationships with stakeholders.
Leslie has experience creating and conducting management and employee trainings and conducting internal investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bias and compliance issues. She also advises employers on workplace issues such as:
When the need for litigation arises, she has represented employers in state and federal courts in all areas of employment law including claims of discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and retaliation. She has also represented Special Litigation Committees in investigating shareholder claims under Pennsylvania’s Business Corporations Act.
Leslie regularly partners with higher education institutions and provides training and compliance advice concerning Title IX and Clery Act Compliance. She investigates reports of sexual assault, harassment, discrimination and other forms of prohibited conduct on behalf of those institutions.
Since 2018 Leslie has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star, and she has been selected in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch since 2021 for her practice in Labor and Employment Law – Management. She has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law teaching legal writing to LLM students.
Prior to joining the firm, Leslie served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Timothy R. Rice, U.S. Magistrate Judge. She was a member of the United States Peace Corps in Cameroon, where she taught English to children in grades 6 through 12.
