LESLIE A. MARIOTTI is a Partner in the Employment and Labor and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
Ms. Mariotti focuses her current practice on counseling, training and representing private and public sector employers.
She has represented employers in state and federal courts in all areas of employment law including claims of discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation.
Ms. Mariotti has widespread expertise in conducting internal investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bias and compliance issues on behalf of public corporations, private businesses and government entities.
She frequently counsels employers on workplace issues including hiring, discharge, recruitment and departure of critical employees, drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants and accommodating disabilities. She has experience assisting employers in drafting and reviewing workplace policies, providing training and compliance advice.
In addition, Ms. Mariotti provides training and compliance advice to educational institutions concerning Title IX and Clery Act Compliance. Ms. Mariotti investigates reports of sexual assault, harassment, discrimination and other forms of prohibited conduct on behalf of the institutions. She has represented Special Litigation Committees in investigating shareholder claims under Pennsylvania’s Business Corporations Act.
Ms. Mariotti is a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law where she teaches legal writing to LLM students. Ms. Mariotti served as the Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Federal Courts Committee. She has been selected for inclusion on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star list since 2018.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mariotti served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Timothy R. Rice, U.S. Magistrate Judge. She was a member of the United States Peace Corps in Cameroon, where she taught English to children in grades 6 through 12.
