MICHAEL O. BETHUNE is an associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Estate & Trust Litigation; Estate Planning and Administration Practice Groups.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bethune was a law clerk at a regional law firm who specialized in personal injury, legal malpractice, and employment litigation cases. While there, he assisted in various aspects of the litigation process including drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions. He served as an extern for the Honorable Helena Barch-Kuchta of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California where he completed extensive research, particularly in the area of social security disability.

Mr. Bethune is a member of the Hay-Sell Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Inn of Court.

Mr. Bethune earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law. During law school, he was a member of Duquesne University’s Appellate Moot Court Board and competed at the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition where he was awarded the Overall Best Oral Advocate at the Boston Regional. Mr. Bethune earned his B.S., cum laude, in Political Science from Saint Vincent College.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing piano, basketball, soccer, chess, and golf.
