Pietragallo partner Shelly Pagac will be speaking at the Allegheny County Bar Association’s inaugural Labor and Employment Law Symposium held November 9, 2023, on the panel “Accommodating Pregnancy in the Workplace: The New Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and its Interaction with the ADA and FMLA”. The panel will discuss this new law and its interplay with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. Ms. Pagac will be joined by Megan Block and Deborah Kane of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ms. Pagac is on the planning committee of this inaugural symposium, which offers attendees the opportunity to earn up to 6 CLE credits across 12 total sessions. The symposium is set to be one of the largest labor and employment law seminars held in Western Pennsylvania this year.
