A Corruption Overview: It’s Not Always Cash in a Bag

May 30, 2019

Unfortunately, corruption is in the news all-too-often today. Lourdes Sanchez Ridge and John Schwab will lead this seminar, hosted by the ACBA, and discuss some of today’s front-page public and private corruption scandals during this program.

Learn how prosecutors make charging decisions in corruption cases and the minefields defense attorneys must navigate to prepare clients under investigation.

This CLE will cover an overview of federal corruption offenses and related crimes, with a focus on some recent cases and developments. Attendees will hear perspectives from both sides of the courtroom. You do not need to be a lawyer to attend.
