FRANK H. STOY, IV is a partner in the Product Liability and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.

Mr. Stoy counsels clients in regulated industries regarding all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration. His practice is nationwide, with a focus on mass tort and class action matters. He has broad experience handling a variety of complex disputes related to product liability, commercial contracts, business torts, trade secrets, and insurance recovery. Mr. Stoy approaches each representative matter with an understanding of the client’s business and objectives in mind, developing a litigation strategy from the ground up that is tailored to those unique needs.

Mr. Stoy is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch® 2024 edition for his practice in Commercial Litigation and IP Litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stoy served as Special Assistant to Duquesne University President Ken Gormley where he helped edit and revise “The Presidents and the Constitution,” which provides a unique legal perspective on the history of the American Presidency.

Mr. Stoy also previously served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Frederick P. Stamp in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. He was a senior editor on the Duquesne Law Review, and the founding President of the law school’s Appellate Moot Court Board. Mr. Stoy received the Duquesne University School of Law Distinguished Student Award, the Shalom Moot Court Award, and was elected to the Order of the Barristers.

Mr. Stoy is an active participant in the firm’s pro bono initiatives, and has previously served as an adjunct professor of Appellate Moot Court at Duquesne University School of Law.
