Joshua Siebert
JOSHUA SIEBERT is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.
Previously, Mr. Siebert served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Debra Todd of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania during her transition from the Superior Court, drafting an opinion and internal documents.
He also has served as a staff judicial law clerk for the Honorable Max Baer of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, where his duties included researching and drafting numerous precedential opinions on a wide range of legal topics; reviewing draft opinions from other chambers; and advising the Justice in various matters. Mr. Siebert also has served as deputy chief clerk for the Honorable Justin M. Johnson of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Siebert received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a member Order of the Coif and Senior Topics Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. Mr. Siebert received the Aldisert Award; CALI Awards for excellence in Intellectual Property, Advocacy and Adjudication, and Constitutional Criminal Procedure; and the Scribes Award for his article, Here’s Your Hat, What’s Your Hurry?: Why “Caretaker Theory” Has Overstayed Its Welcome in Due Process Notice Jurisprudence, which appeared in volume 64 of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
He earned his B.A. with High Honors from Rutgers University. He also completed two years of study toward a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York.
He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
