Richard A. Pollard
RICHARD A. POLLARD, a partner with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, is a member of the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He concentrates on loan and transaction law, banking and bankruptcy law and commercial litigation. He represents banks, bank holding companies, finance companies, and bonding companies regarding credit structure and documentation, workouts, bankruptcies, and litigation, including the defense of lender liability claims.
Prior to entering private law practice, Mr. Pollard spent eleven years as a commercial lender and senior credit officer at Pittsburgh National Bank (now PNC Bank).
Mr. Pollard is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania; U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. Mr. Pollard received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Penn State University.
Mr. Pollard regularly gives presentations before credit, banking and legal organizations, and develops and teaches in-house programs for financial institutions across the country. He serves on the faculties of the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending and the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking, where he has taught commercial lending and banking law for over 25 years.
