Ronald D. Morelli
RONALD D. MORELLI is senior counsel with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Morelli’s practice focuses in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy law and general business litigation.Mr. Morelli has extensive experience in the area of bankruptcy law, particularly in the representation of secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code and in advising clients of bankruptcy considerations in connection with general business transactions. He has served as counsel to the official committee of unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings and has also served as a panelist in seminars on bankruptcy practice sponsored by the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Morelli has broad experience in civil litigation in both the state and federal courts and at the trial court and appellate level, including contract and commercial law cases.
Mr. Morelli graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Mr. Morelli is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Morelli is a member of the Pennsylvania, Allegheny County and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is active on the Court Rules Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association and also serves on the Pittsburgh Legal Journal Committee’s opinion editorial staff.
