Philip P. Keating
PHILIP P. KEATING is a litigation associate with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is primarily based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.For six years prior to joining the firm, Mr. Keating served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County. During that time, he represented the State of Florida in the prosecution of a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from organized crime prosecutions to firearm, violent crime and drug trafficking prosecutions. Mr. Keating also served as the representative of the Broward County State Attorney’s Office on the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force. As the lead trial counsel in more than 80 jury trials, Mr. Keating brings to the firm extensive courtroom experience.
Mr. Keating received his J.D., cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in 2001, where he served as Honor Court Chief Prosecutor and was the recipient of a NAPIL Fellowship. He earned his B.A. from New York University in 1994.
Mr. Keating is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL).
Mr. Keating is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Florida, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of West Virginia.
