Martha S. Helmreich
MARTHA S. HELMREICH is a senior attorney with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is a member of the Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.With extensive litigation experience, Ms. Helmreich’s practice for the firm concentrates in the areas of business and commercial law, focusing on the analysis and litigation of complex legal issues. These include business and commercial disputes, antitrust, securities, employment discrimination, trademark and copyright, ERISA, RICO and defamation issues. In addition, her experience includes counseling clients on business and employment matters as well as administrative law and health-care related issues.
Ms. Helmreich has authored and presented numerous articles and papers on topics pertaining to health care, product liability, class actions, securities law, attorney-client privilege and employment discrimination, as well as federal and state statutes relative to electronic technology issues.
Ms. Helmreich is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Law Review. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College, graduating magna cum laude. She earned a Master of Arts degree at Syracuse University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Helmreich is an active member of the Business Law and Litigation sections of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations as well as serving on the Antitrust and Class Action Committee, Federal Court Section Council, Co-Chair of the Judges’ Book Committee and Committee on Local Rules, and Appellate Practice Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
