Steven W. Hays
STEVEN W. HAYS is a registered patent attorney and a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is experienced in intellectual property protection and management.
His practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution and litigation, assisting clients in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, providing non-infringement/freedom to operate and invalidity opinions and preparing and reviewing licensing agreements. Mr. Hays has previous experience as a polymer chemist for two Fortune 500 chemical companies.
Mr. Hays received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University-New Orleans. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. Mr. Hays also has 18 credits towards a Masters Degree in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
Mr. Hays is admitted to practice in Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, the U.S. Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Northern District of Illinois, and the District Court of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association.
