Matthew D. Gailey
MATTHEW D. GAILEY is an associate with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and a member of the Litigation Defense Practice Group.
Mr. Gailey has a wide range of experience in the areas of insurance defense litigation and general civil matters. His practice is focused on toxic tort law, personal injury law, automobile insurance law and other general civil matters.
Mr. Gailey received his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a member of the American Trial Lawyer Association Moot Court Team and a Board Member of the Trial Moot Court Honor Society. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.
While attending law school, Mr. Gailey served as a research assistant to law school dean, Nicholas Cafardi, performing research on issues dealing with Canon law and charitable organizations. He also served as a law clerk at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, where he researched and prepared memoranda of law on various issues, including litigation issues, civil procedure and general legal research.
Mr. Gailey is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, West Virginia State Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
