MARK T. CALOYER, a partner with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Litigation Defense, and Risk Management Practice Groups, as well as the firm’s Construction Practice Consortium.  His practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction litigation, and litigation involving intellectual property, product liability, and other torts.

Mr. Caloyer’s trial and appellate practice has involved personal injury and property damage, product liability, errors and omissions, insurance coverage and bad faith.  In addition he has litigated construction disputes in the courts and in arbitration. His construction practice includes representation of owners, architects, contractors and suppliers, not only in construction disputes, but also cases involving construction accidents and injuries.  His personal injury practice includes both defense and plaintiff representation, defending clients in various industries, including airlines and manufacturers.  Mr. Caloyer has also counseled insurers in the areas of first and third-party insurance coverage and insurance fraud.  He has also been a continuing legal education author and lecturer on insurance bad faith.

Mr. Caloyer received his law degree from Duquesne University School of law and a bachelor of science degree in Applied History from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr. Caloyer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania state courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Caloyer is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Churchill Centre, and is past President and current member of the Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Avenue School in Shadyside.
