Rochelle L. Brightwell
ROCHELLE L. BRIGHTWELL is a partner in the firm of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti LLP in the firm’s Weirton, West Virginia office where her practice encompasses all areas of civil litigation. She is a member of the Health Care Litigation and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.Ms. Brightwell has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Over the last eight years, she has handled a variety of matters, including medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, insurance bad faith, premises liability, contract disputes, employment litigation, and a variety of commercial matters. In addition to malpractice actions, Ms. Brightwell has represented health care providers in a number of matters, including disciplinary actions before licensing boards.
Ms. Brightwell received her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and Law Review, serving as associate editor for two years. Ms. Brightwell was ranked number two in her graduating class. She is a cum laude graduate from West Virginia University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Ms. Brightwell is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
She maintains membership in the American Bar Association, West Virginia State Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Hancock County (WV) Bar Association, Allegheny County (PA) Bar Association and Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.
