LESLIE A. MARIOTTI is an associate in the Employment & Labor Practice Group of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is based in the firm's Philadelphia office.
Ms. Mariotti focuses her current practice on representing private and public sector employers in state and federal courts against allegations of discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability and religion, as well as charges of harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation.
Ms. Mariotti frequently counsels employers on workplace issues including hiring, discharge, recruitment and departure of critical employees, drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants and accommodating disabilities. She has experience assisting employers in drafting and reviewing workplace policies, providing training and compliance advice, and conducting internal investigations.
In addition, Ms. Mariotti provides training and compliance advice to educational facilities concerning Title IX and Clery Act Compliance. Ms. Mariotti also conducts Title IX investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mariotti served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Timothy R. Rice, U.S. Magistrate Judge, and as a law clerk for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Mariotti was a member of the United States Peace Corps in Cameroon for two years, where she taught English to children in grades 6 through 12. In addition, she served as Development Coordinator for the Community Women's Education Project in Philadelphia. Ms. Mariotti currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Federal Courts Committee.
Ms. Mariotti was selected to the list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2014 in the area of Employment & Labor.Speaking Engagements
