EMILY J. WAGNER is a partner in the Pittsburgh office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. Ms. Wagner is a civil litigator with expertise in product liability, commercial litigation, and real estate litigation.
Her experience includes all aspects of litigation, from administrative proceedings to mediation to trials and appeals. She has defended cases in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, California, Nevada and throughout the country.
Ms. Wagner re-joined Pietragallo Gordon after five years of practicing product liability litigation in California. During her years of experience, she has defended the design, manufacture and performance of a diverse array of products made by some of the world's largest manufacturers. These products include pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles, ATVs, tires, industrial machinery and helmets.
Ms. Wagner also regularly handles commercial litigation and real estate litigation.
While in law school, Ms. Wagner served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Irene M. Keeley in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. Upon her graduation from West Virginia University College of Law, she received recognition as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Ms. Wagner writes and speaks frequently on issues pertaining to pharmaceutical litigation, including a recent presentation on “The Significance and Potential Impact of Mutual Pharmaceutical Co., Inc. v. Bartlett” at the American Bar Association Drug and Medical Device Regional Seminar at Novo Nordisk.
Ms. Wagner is a member of the Defense Research Institute, where she is a member of the Drug & Medical Device Committee. She is also a member of the American Bar Association.
