JOHN B. ZAPPONE is a senior associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is a member of the Product Liability Practice Group where he represents pharmaceutical, automotive, recreational vehicle, aircraft, and firearm manufacturers in state and federal courts across the country.

Recognized as a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers since 2022, Mr. Zappone has tried cases and obtained defense verdicts as first chair counsel throughout the Commonwealth.

Mr. Zappone earned his J.D. from Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, where he received two CALI Awards for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and Federal Courts and the Federal System and was recognized for his outstanding advocacy. Thereafter, Mr. Zappone clerked for the Honorable Ronald W. Folino in the Civil Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, where he gained valuable knowledge spanning a wide range of issues and formed friendships with both attorneys and judges.
